FIND A LOVELY BOOK CLUB: NOV – JAN TRIO
Table of Contents
We started this trio on Queenie’s self-love journey and left London for Paris in December. Kicking off the new year trying to figure things out with Marie Forleo. Let’s break down each book and take a look back at our discussions.
Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams

NOVEMBER BOOK CLUB PICK: CONTEMPORARY FICTION
We read this amazing book in November as our Find A Lovely Book Club pick and loved how real and truthful it was. Whether you’re into relating to bad dating experiences or are in the middle of your own messy self-love journey, I will continue to always recommend this book.
The Paper Girl of Paris by Jordyn Taylor

December Book Club Pick: YA Historical Fiction
Told in two perspectives, sixteen-year-old Alice finds herself uncovering a family secret in Paris. No one knew her grandmother had a sister. As she reads her Great Aunt’s diary, we learn more about sixteen-year-old Adaline from Nazi-occupied Paris. Taylor does an incredible job weaving time back and forth. This book is heartfelt and feels like a puzzle. We loved talking about it!
Everything is Figureoutable by Mario Forleo

JANUARY BOOK CLUB PICK: SELF-HELP
Our first non-fiction pick! We navigated January with Marie Forleo’s self-help book and figured things out together. Our favorite chapters helped us figure out our dreams and which ones to prioritize. It also validated our motto around here: progress, not perfection. Check out our discussion!
