Dear Lovely, Take A Breath
Table of Contents
Right now your anxiety is at an all-time high. Mine too. We’ve lived in a world where information is turned over so quickly, now it seems like it’s operating chaotically at 300mph with no reassurance and no control. Right now, we need to take a breath.
You might be feeling uncertain.
Trust that The Universe has your back and that it will all work out. The sun always comes out at the end of a storm. You are strong. You will get through this. Opportunities will present themselves to you. You will survive.
If things keep falling apart and you’re feeling hopeless, I want to offer you hope. This season won’t last forever and you are not alone in this. It’s okay to ask for help in a time of need. You don’t need to do things alone.
Maybe you’re scared.
It’s okay. This will pass. While optimism and hope are needed, you must also be socially responsible. Take care of yourself and others. This is the best time to practice self-love. If you have been putting that off for a while, here are a few ways to start your journey.
You have to do what’s best for you. Maybe you’ve never had the time to ask yourself what that is. Guess what–now you have the time. Thinking of yourself first is not selfish, you need to be the best you to help others around you. Be brave and set boundaries. Advocate for yourself. Sometimes no one else will.
You might be overwhelmed.
Take a breath. In. And out. That’s it, keep doing that. If you need to take a break from the news for an hour, do that. Put your phone and computer in the bathroom and read a book on the couch. If you’re able, take a walk. Sit on your porch and listen to nature. She’s doing okay. So great. Really, she’s balancing herself. As you should too.
If social has you on auto-pilot, take a break from that too. Text each other. Call and check on each other. The funny memes can wait until tomorrow. You’re not missing out on anything right now. Pull the focus on you today. Do a yoga practice on YouTube, clean your apartment, cook something new. Take a break from the chaos. Take a breath. Maybe two. We are going to get through this.
With Love,

Leave something lovely
