Dear Lovely,
Don’t be so hard on yourself. There is no such thing as perfection. Mistakes don’t mean the end. They are a chance for you to pause and become better. If you become obsessed with perfection, you’ll miss out on the nuggets of wisdom along the way.
Sometimes things won’t work out the way you planned. You are doing the best that you can. No one is blaming you, no one cares that much. Whatever you are weighing down so heavy, let it go. Tomorrow is a new day. You get to start again.
There is a time for everything. Right now might not be your moment, but that doesn’t mean that this season you’re in right now is going to be forever. Have a little faith. Find the joy in the small things. Work on your goals. Work on yourself. Embrace the season and things will start to change.
Get back up and try again. And again. And again, if you have to. This isn’t a test. This isn’t a race. This is a journey. It’s one foot in front of the other, it’s one step at a time. We’re going at your pace love, not the world’s, not your coworker, not your sister’s nor your neighbors–yours. And I’ll be cheering for you every step of the way.
Love,
